You most likely are already well aware of the incredible growth in online casinos. Suddenly, it seems like online casinos are blossoming all over the world. Well, not quite. Online casinos are one area where the United States seems to be playing catch up or follow-the-leader.
This is frustrating to those in the United States who like the occasional wager at a casino but don’t necessarily want to deal with the hassles and frustrations of travel. Not only that, there are still some places in the United States where gambling of any kind online or offline is totally prohibited.
As you might imagine, this situation is extremely frustrating to many in the United States. Anyway, the point is this: there are many supporters in the United States that are eager and ready to fully legalize online casinos. As you might suspect, some of the big money casinos are supporting this drive allowing online gambling. For example, the tremendously successful companies Caesars Entertainment and Wynn Resorts are actually starting to look toward the fall of 2013 to begin bringing online casinos to the United States. The state of Nevada is right on the edge of legalizing online casinos and both Wynn Resorts and Caesars are literally chomping at the bit so to speak to break into the online casino marketplace in the United States.
So far most other states have not been so fast to act. The exceptions are New Jersey and Delaware that have both passed some form of online gambling laws. Yet, this situation can’t last too long. You might recall there was a time when gambling was only allowed in a few places in the United States. Later, when other states saw the potential they jumped on the casino bandwagon too. Look for much the same thing with online casinos.
